Sibiu based instrumental band Doomsday Astronaut take the grand prize at the posada rock festival 2022:

Doomsday Astronaut were one of the 10 bands who were chosen to participate at the posada rock festival 2022 band contest out of 39 bands who applied initially. Being the only instrumental band in the contest, Doomsday Astronaut impressed the judges with their impeccable live performance, Uncanny display of virtuosity and maturity of song structure and composition.

The band was formed in february 2022 and despite being at an early stage, They surprised the audience with their professional sound. The band aims to start touring in the near future and bring a fresh new sound to the Romanian metal scene. Here is a clip from their performance at Posada rock.
