Friday, October 7 sees the release of “Icon”, the long-awaited sixth album by the Austrian exceptional death band MASTIC SCUM. As a further taster, there is now with “Slavebreed” an official video clip from the new album, which offers almost 40 minutes of brute and technically high-quality death metal anthems that could not sound more crushing. The new steamroller was recorded in Vienna’s Grindlab Studio, produced, mixed and mastered in Metalforge Studio under the care of Mike Kronstorfer. Dress warmly, because Mastic Scum anno 2022 is a force! “Icon” will be released as a CD in a jewel case, as a strictly limited red vinyl and as a limited Digipak in an exclusive aluminium box set!
